A refined mid-aged ripe pu-erh from the renowned Nanjiao Tea Factory (南峤茶厂), Menghai — crafted under the Wuyin Tea Series, Mark 001. Pressed in 2010 from premium high-altitude large-leaf Menghai cultivar, this compact 200g mini cake features an abundance of golden buds and a clean, well-controlled fermentation.
The dry cake is deep brown with an oily sheen, richly adorned with golden tips — a hallmark of top-grade tender material.
Tasting Notes (Dry-Warehouse Aged)
- Aroma: Pure aged fragrance with honey-sweet and soft ripe fruit notes; virtually no fermentation odor — exceptionally clean.
- Liquor: Deep ruby-amber, clear and luminous with a viscous, glutinous texture.
- Taste: Silky smooth entry with a full-bodied, refined mouthfeel; extremely low bitterness and astringency. Sweetness runs throughout with a gentle, lingering finish and a sweet aftertaste in the throat. Beginner-friendly and highly approachable.
- Leaves: Red-brown, supple and resilient; high proportion of tender buds; fermentation even and complete.
