2011 Meijiang Chen Pi — Aged Tangerine Peel Gift Box, 200g (2 Tins)
2011 Meijiang Chen Pi — Aged Tangerine Peel Gift Box, 200g (2 Tins)
2011 Meijiang Chen Pi
Harvested in 2011 from the core Meijiang growing area of Xinhui, this aged tangerine peel is made from fully ripened Chazhi mandarins. Traditionally opened into three lobes, naturally sun-dried and slowly matured in dry storage, it offers a deep, mellow fragrance with honeyed notes and a distinctive herbal character.
Aged Character, Golden Infusion
The warm brown peel shows pronounced surface texture and densely distributed oil glands, while the inner pith has naturally loosened with age. Brewed on its own, it yields a clear golden infusion with a smooth, gently sweet taste and a lingering finish. Enjoy it alongside pu-erh or white tea, or use it to add citrus depth to soups and everyday cooking.
Two Tins, One Thoughtful Gift
Each gift box contains 2 separate aroma-preserving tins, with a total net weight of 200g. Separate storage reduces repeated exposure when opening the tins, helping protect the peel from moisture and preserve its mature aroma. The refined gift presentation is suited to personal enjoyment, collecting or gifting to family, tea friends and clients.

Brewing Guidance
Suggested starting point — adjust to taste.
Standalone infusion: Use 2–3g of peel per 300–500ml of water. Briefly rinse, then steep with freshly boiled water (100°C) for 5–10 minutes. Refill with hot water as desired, extending the steeping time for later infusions.
Gentle simmer: Rinse a small piece and simmer gently in water for 10–15 minutes, adjusting the amount of peel and water to your preferred strength.
Tea pairing: Add a small piece to pu-erh or white tea and adjust the quantity to complement, rather than overpower, the tea.
Cooking: Rinse and soak until softened, then add a small amount to soups or other dishes for a mellow citrus aroma.
Storage: Keep the tins tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, moisture and strong odors. Use dry utensils and avoid repeatedly opening both tins.
