Cha Yuan Ji · Ya Shi Xiang Phoenix Dancong — High-Mountain Oolong Gift Box, 240g
Ya Shi Xiang · Phoenix Mountain Fragrance
From tea gardens at 1,392 metres on Phoenix Mountain in Chaozhou, Guangdong, Cha Yuan Ji's Ya Shi Xiang Phoenix Dancong presents one of the distinctive classic aroma styles of Chaoshan oolong. Traditional Dancong charcoal roasting shapes an expressive cup, balancing elevated floral fragrance with a smooth, mellow texture.
Orchid Lift, Fruit Sweetness and Honeyed Depth
Tightly rolled, dark, lustrous leaves open into a clear orange-yellow infusion. High, elegant orchid fragrance intertwines with sweet fruit notes and honeyed depth. The liquor flows smoothly across the palate, leading to a lasting mouthwatering sensation and sweet return.
A clean, expansive mountain character carries through successive infusions, making this a rewarding tea to explore slowly in a Gongfu session.

Brewing Guidance
Brewing Guidance
Suggested Gongfu brewing starting point:
Teaware: A porcelain gaiwan or small teapot.
Leaf: One 8g sachet in a 100–120ml vessel; adjust to taste.
Water: 95–100°C. Start around 95°C and adjust for your preferred aromatic intensity and strength.
Warm the teaware before adding the leaves.
Begin with a quick infusion of approximately 5–10 seconds and decant completely. Keep early infusions brief to balance the elevated fragrance and strength.
Gradually extend later infusions to explore the orchid, fruit and honeyed notes as they develop.
One sachet provides a Gongfu session with repeated infusions.
For a gentler cup, use less leaf or a larger vessel.
Storage: Keep vacuum-packed sachets sealed in a cool, dry, odor-free place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Open one sachet at a time and use promptly.
