• Water Temperature: 90–100°C (194–212°F)
• Tender bud grades (Golden Needle, Golden Bud, Golden Milk, Mao Feng): 90–95°C
• All other varieties: 95–100°C
• Teaware: Porcelain gaiwan or glass cup recommended
• Sachet: 1 sachet (8.3g) per 150–200ml (Western style) or 110ml (gaiwan)
• First Steep: Pour and drain quickly — 10–20 seconds (gaiwan) or 2–3 minutes (mug/pot)
