Guoyao Yaocai · Chen Pi & Qinan Agarwood Leaf Herbal Tea Gift Box, 250g
Guoyao Yaocai · Chen Pi & Qinan Agarwood Leaf Herbal Tea Gift Box, 250g
Chen Pi & Qinan Agarwood Leaf · Two Aromatic Traditions
Guoyao Yaocai (国药药材) brings together 2016 Xinhui aged tangerine peel and 2025 Qinan agarwood leaf tea in a distinctive herbal infusion. Each 5g sachet contains 2g of shredded Chen Pi and 3g of agarwood leaf tea, making it easy to enjoy a consistently measured blend without mixing the ingredients yourself.
Aged Citrus, Quiet Woody Fragrance
The clear amber-gold infusion opens with mellow aged citrus fragrance, honeyed notes and a rounded, sugar-like sweetness. After sipping, delicate woody aromas unfold into a lingering finish. The texture is soft, smooth and gently substantial, with little bitterness or astringency and a clean, enduring sweet return.
Neither aroma overwhelms the other: the sweet citrus brightness complements the quieter woody character. This caffeine-free herbal blend contains no Camellia sinensis tea leaves and is intended for enjoyment as a beverage, not as a substitute for medicine.
A Complete Gift Presentation
The brown-toned gift box features a vintage Chinese woodcut-inspired design and comes with a matching carry gift bag. Inside are 50 individually vacuum-packed sachets × 5g, totaling 250g of herbal tea, convenient for home, office and travel.
A separate 5g Hainan agarwood gift completes the set for aromatic appreciation. It is separate from the sachet blend; follow its supplied use instructions rather than adding it to the tea.

Brew Gently, Not in a Flash
Unlike a quick-pour oolong, this blend benefits from measured steeping to release the peel and leaf aromas. Use one 5g sachet in a 100–110ml gaiwan with boiling water. Rinse for 20–30 seconds, then steep the first three infusions for 30–45 seconds. From the fourth infusion, extend by 20–30 seconds each time, adjusting to taste. Avoid prolonged stewing, which can make citrus acidity and woody notes too dominant.

Brewing Guidance
Brewing Guidance
This herbal blend needs measured steeping, not the few-second flash infusions used for some oolongs. Avoid excessively prolonged steeping, which can bring out citrus acidity and heavy woody notes.
Gaiwan method:
Use one complete 5g sachet in a 100–110ml gaiwan with 100°C water.
Awaken the blend by steeping for 20–30 seconds, then discard this rinse.
Infusions 1–3: Cover and steep for 30–45 seconds, then decant completely.
From infusion 4: Add approximately 20–30 seconds per infusion, adjusting to taste. Aim for 6–8 infusions depending on your preferred strength.
Drain fully each time; shorten steeping for a lighter cup or extend moderately for more body.
Insulated cup method:
Use one sachet, fill with boiling water and steep for 4–6 minutes. Adjust water volume to taste.
After refilling, steep for 6–8 minutes; refill 2–3 times as flavor allows.
Gentle simmer:
Use one sachet with 400–500ml water. Once gently bubbling, reduce to low heat and simmer for 3–5 minutes, then switch off. Do not boil for long periods.
Storage: Keep sachets sealed in a dry, odor-free place away from sunlight, moisture and heat.
The separate Hainan agarwood gift is not part of the tea blend. Follow its supplied use instructions.
This is a herbal beverage, not a substitute for medication.
