This special "Money Brick" Liubao dark tea is part of China Tea’s 2023 limited edition series. Crafted from premium tea leaves and aged in traditional cellar conditions, it is pressed into the classic “money brick” shape—a form historically associated with prosperity and good fortune in Chinese tea culture.
The tea is made from specially selected leaves that have undergone careful fermentation and pressing, resulting in a rich, deep character with notes of aged wood and subtle sweetness. Its tight compression ensures slow, steady aging potential while delivering a thick, mellow liquor with every brew.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Clean aged scent with notes of dried wood and faint betel nut
Tea: 8–10g (use a tea pick to loosen leaves)
Water: 300ml at 100°C
Rinse: 10–15 seconds, discard
First Brew: 30 seconds
Subsequent Brews: Add 10–15 seconds each round
Can Brew: 10+ times
