Seasoning Your New Teapot

1. Rinse the teapot inside and out with boiling water
2. Place in a pot of cold water, bring to a gentle boil, and simmer for 10–15 minutes
3. Remove and allow to cool naturally
4. Brew your first pot of tea — discard this brew; it is for seasoning only
