Product Description

Tai Ping Hou Kui ("Monkey King") is one of China's most distinctive green teas, instantly recognizable by its long, flat, hand-pressed leaves — the largest of any famous green tea. This 2026 harvest is hand-crafted in the traditional Anhui style, each leaf carefully flattened to reveal its signature orchid fragrance.

The liquor pours a clear, pale green, delivering a remarkably smooth, mellow cup with elegant notes of fresh orchid, sweet grass, and a clean, refreshing finish. Exceptionally low in bitterness with a lingering floral sweetness, it is a graceful, showpiece green tea to be savored slowly and admired in the glass.
