About Dicaoqing Clay

Dicaoqing (底槽清, literally "bottom-groove clear") is mined from the deepest, purest layer of the Yixing clay seam — a position that gives it exceptional density, fine grain, and a naturally rich, blue-grey tone that deepens to a warm, complex hue with firing and use.
