Tea Roasting & Incense Burner Set β Ceramic Dry-Heat Tea Warmer with Lotus Dish
Tea Roasting & Incense Burner Set β Ceramic Dry-Heat Tea Warmer with Lotus Dish
The Art of Slow Heat β Tea Roasting & Incense Burner Set
Before the first steep, there is the roast. Gently warming your tea leaves over a candle flame β a practice known as bei cha (ηθΆ) β awakens dormant aromatics, drives off residual moisture, and prepares the leaf to give its very best. This ceramic set makes that ritual as beautiful as it is functional.
The kiln-fired ceramic burner is designed for dry-heat use β safe for direct flame, slow to heat, and slow to cool, creating the gentle, even warmth that tea roasting demands. The lotus-form dish above catches the leaf and diffuses heat evenly, while the whole assembly sits on a natural wood base that protects your tea table and grounds the set visually.
Use it to roast tea before brewing, warm a teapot, or burn incense during a tea session. A single object with many quiet purposes.
Whatβs Included
- β Ceramic burner β kiln-fired, safe for dry heat
- β Lotus dish (θ²θ¬η’) β for roasting tea leaves or holding incense

- β Wood base β natural, heat-insulating
- β Tea pick / stirrer (θΆζ¨) β for turning leaves during roasting

How to Use
Place the candle in the holder, light it, and set the lotus dish above. Add your tea leaves to the dish and stir gently with the tea pick every 30β60 seconds. When the leaves are warm and fragrant β usually 2β3 minutes β they are ready to brew. The same setup works beautifully with incense cones or loose incense during meditation or tea ceremony.
