Wuyi Hu Xiao Yan Rou Gui Rock Oolong Tea – Premium Gift Box (8g × 12 Sachets)
Wuyi Hu Xiao Yan Rou Gui Rock Oolong Tea – Premium Gift Box (8g × 12 Sachets)
From the dramatic cliffs of Hu Xiao Yan (虎啸岩) - Tiger Roar Rock - comes one of the most prized and powerful expressions of Wuyi Rou Gui oolong. Named for the thunderous echo that reverberates through its steep stone gorges, Hu Xiao Yan is one of the "Three Pits and Two Ravines" (三坑两浧) - the most celebrated and coveted growing sites in all of the Wuyi Mountains.
Rou Gui – The Cinnamon Rock Oolong (肉桂岩茶)
Rou Gui (肉桂) - literally "cinnamon" - is one of the most celebrated cultivars of Wuyi Yancha, renowned for its bold, spicy character and the signature "gui" (桂) warmth that defines its profile. Hu Xiao Yan Rou Gui is considered among the finest expressions of this cultivar - its mineral rock charm (yan yun 岩韵) is deep and penetrating, its cinnamon spice bold and assertive, and its floral and fruited undertones rich and complex. This is a tea of commanding presence and extraordinary depth.
Hu Xiao Yan Terroir (虎啸岩岩韵)
The Wuyi Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are home to some of the world's most extraordinary tea-growing conditions. Within this landscape, Hu Xiao Yan occupies a position of particular prestige - its rocky, mineral-rich soil, sheltered microclimate, and dramatic elevation produce a Rou Gui of exceptional intensity and character. The ancient stone of Tiger Roar Rock imparts a depth of yan yun that is unmistakable and unforgettable.
