Yanzhonghe · Su Yue Liu Tian — Wuyuan Jian Old Bush Shuixian, 2025 Gift Box, 51g
Su Yue Liu Tian · Orchid Fragrance from Wuyuan Jian
Named for the poetic image of moonlight flowing across the sky, Yanzhonghe's Su Yue Liu Tian (素月流天) is an Old Bush Shuixian from Wuyuan Jian (悟源涧), within Wuyi's core Zhengyan growing area. This 2025 batch is roasted on the lighter side of medium, preserving an elegant balance of woody fragrance, deep orchid notes and gentle mineral rock character.
Woody Depth, Orchid Fragrance Within the Liquor
Distinct woody aromas meet a pronounced orchid-floral foundation, accompanied by a quiet, refined old-bush fragrance. The honey-yellow liquor has a lustrous sheen and a soft, smooth texture that flows delicately across the palate.
Orchid fragrance is woven into the liquor rather than resting only in the aroma. The rock character is mellow rather than forceful, leading to a long sweet return and lingering orchid notes deep in the throat. An understated choice for tea drinkers who value softness, old-bush depth and an enduring floral finish.

Brewing Guidance
Brewing Guidance
Suggested Gongfu brewing starting point:
Teaware: A gaiwan is recommended.
Leaf: Use one sachet in a 100–120ml gaiwan; adjust the leaf-to-water ratio to taste.
Water: 95–100°C. Start around 95°C for a softer expression, or use hotter water to explore a fuller body.
Warm the gaiwan before adding the leaves.
Decant the first three infusions quickly and completely, starting around 5–10 seconds and adjusting to taste.
Gradually extend later infusions to explore the woody fragrance, orchid notes and old-bush character as they develop.
For a gentler cup, use less leaf or a larger vessel.
Storage: Keep tightly sealed in a dry, odor-free environment away from light, moisture and heat. Leave sachets unopened until needed and use promptly after opening.
