1. Rinse the teapot with warm water before first use
2. Preheat the pot by filling with hot water, then discard

1. Add 4-5g of tea leaves (adjust to taste)
2. Water temperature varies by tea type:
- Green tea: 75-80°C (167-176°F)
- White tea: 80-85°C (176-185°F)
- Light oolong: 85-90°C (185-194°F)
- Raw Pu-erh: 90-95°C (194-203°F)
3. First infusion: 15-20 seconds (rinse for Pu-erh), discard
4. Second infusion: 30-45 seconds
5. Subsequent infusions: Add 10-15 seconds each time
6. Can yield 5-7 infusions depending on tea quality
