Brewing Guidance

Brewing Guide

Gongfu Style (Recommended — best for experiencing all five aromas)
1. Warm your gaiwan or teapot with hot water, then discard
2. Add 3–5g of tea per 100ml of water
3. Pour water at 90–95°C (194–203°F)
4. Steep for 10–20 seconds for the first infusion
5. Pour and enjoy — notice how the aroma evolves with each round
Gradually increase steeping time with each infusion
Expect 5–8 quality infusions

Mug Brewing
1. Add 3–4g of tea to your mug or infuser
2. Pour water at 90–95°C and steep for 2–3 minutes
