Zhuke Rougui (竹纠肉桂) is a premium Wuyi rock oolong sourced from the Zhuke Ravine, a secluded, moisture-rich canyon within the zhengyan (true rock) core zone of Wuyi Mountain Scenic Reserve, Fujian. The dry leaves are tightly twisted and heavy, deep umber-brown with a natural sandy-green sheen. Brewed with boiling water, the tea releases a soaring, enveloping cinnamon bark fragrance layered with subtle floral and fruit notes, underpinned by a clear, composed yan yun. The liquor is full-bodied and silky-smooth — powerful yet never harsh. A measured spice opens rapidly into a clean, lingering sweetness, with fragrance that persists deep in the throat. Later infusions reveal a delicate wild bush character (cong xiang). Endurance is exceptional.

Vessel: Gaiwan (recommended)
Water temperature: 100°C (212°F) — full boiling water
Leaf quantity: 5–7 g per 110–120 ml
Rinse: Quick rinse (xi cha) before first infusion
Infusion 1–4: Fast pour — drain immediately after steeping
Infusion 5+: Gradually extend steeping time to fully release the canyon terroir and layered complexity
